About The Preschool Center in Hyde Park

The Preschool Center is an integral part of the Chicago Child Care Society (CCCS), which has served children, youth and their families since 1849. Located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, The Preschool Center has offered a rich early education experience to young children since 1963.

The Preschool Center’s educational philosophy is project based; children learn by doing. Our program encourages students to explore things that interest them. Teachers create a stimulating atmosphere that encourages children to discover and learn with confidence.
