From humble beginnings in 1849 as an orphanage, the history of CCCS serving Chicago has paralleled the history of our city and country, of societal changes and challenges, always growing in response to the needs over time of children and families.
In 2019, we celebrate our 170th Anniversary of building our future, expanding services in early childhood education and youth development and stabilizing families in need with our Spring Dream Builders Luncheon.
During this important time together as a community, we will be honoring John W. Rogers, Jr. of Ariel Investments with our 2019 Dream Builders Award and the Illinois Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects with our 2018 Community Partner Award.
But we can’t celebrate without YOU! It is our community of supportive individuals, organizations and businesses that have helped CCCS be the longest operating social service agency in Illinois.
Please join us as we celebrate our legacy of 170 years and plan for our future of another 170.
